International Criminal Police Organization
Background Guide and Committee Description
Interpol is the world's largest international police organization and it connects law enforcement around 196 countries. For years it has fostered global cooperation involving sharing information and coordinating with other national police forces to tackle everything ranging from cybercrime to terrorism. This committee focuses on two of Interpol’s divisions: cybercrime and maritime crime. Cybercrime focuses on a myriad of topics all relating to digital devices and networks. Maritime crime refers to all crimes that are committed on the sea, including piracy and transnational organized crime. This committee puts the fate of international criminal justice into the hands of the delegates and trusts you all to come up with solutions to create a safer tomorrow.

Meet the Director
Hi everyone, my name is Esmé Brean. I am a grade 12 student at Monarch Park C.I. I have been doing MUN for all four years of high school and I am now one of the presidents of my school’s MUN club. GAs have always been my favorite committees to both participate in and run because they teach me important things about the world around me and prepare me with the tools I need to make the world a better place. Please feel free to email me (350293564@tdsb.ca) with any questions you have about INTERPOL.
