The Edge of Psychosis - Cyberpunk: Edgerunners

Committee Description

The year is 2075. Night City never sleeps and neither should delegates. In a world where the human body is just another upgrade, cybernetic enhancements define power, wealth, and survival. The Edgerunners scrape by beneath the iron grip of corporate dominance, navigating a city built on violence, distrust, and inequality, but something far deadlier than any megacorp now threatens to tear Night City apart. GHOST is a cyber virus buried deep within the city's supply chain, invisible, spreading, and lethal. Neural implants, military chrome, weapons or anything that draws power is at risk. Nobody knows its creator. Nobody knows how far it has already spread. What they do know is this: infected gear can detonate its user into a violent cyberpsychosis without warning. Every enhancement becomes a ticking time bomb. Delegates will step into the shoes of edgerunners, fixers, and corporate leaders, racing against time to trace GHOST to its source before Night City destroys itself from the inside out. Alliances will need to be forged even with enemies. This committee is one where every decision carries a cost.

Meet the Directors

Emmett Yu

Hello delegates, my name is Emmett Yu, I am a Senior at Hillfield Strathallan College, a school on the tip of the hills on a field, located in Hamilton as the name suggests. I been in mun attending conferences est. 2022, as well as staffing and directing few local conferences such as HSCMUN (see you 2027?), TMUN, and HMUNC. In my free time I enjoy debating people on instagram's comment sections about issues applied to our near future, as well as fiddling around with my raspberry pi and building rockets, plus binge watching unhealthy amounts of anime during exam season - which is why this committee came to existence. I hope this committee is just as enjoyable as it is to imagine and mentally challenging enough to get us prepared for our future with its unpredictable problems. Anyways, thank you for choosing cyberpunk and "I'll take you to the moon! I promise!" - David Martinez - Season 1, Episode 4.

Julia Wu

Helloo I’m Julia Wu, a senior at John Fraser Secondary School in Mississauga. I’ve been doing Model UN since 2025, delegating and most recently staffing several conferences, notable ones being TMUN and HMUNC. I was a crisis manager for MarkMUN 2025, so I’m proud to be back as a Director this iteration!! As a huge art kid who dabbles in tech making games and gadgets, Cyberpunk manages to combine both these interests into a stunning and gut-wrenching show. I can’t wait to see this reworked vision of the show come to life in a committee and watch delegates make it their own :)
