MarkMUN's Most Bizarre Committee: Steel Ball Run
Committee Description
1889. San Diego. 3852 racers lined up along the Pacific shoreline to begin the first cross-continental horse race in American history, the 「STEEL BALL RUN」! From the blue Pacific shores to the glittering Manhattan skyline, these racers will partake in a historic competition for a tidy cash prize of 50 million US dollars. Or at least, that’s what they told people. Unbeknownst to the competitors and even the race organizers themselves, this is no ordinary horse race. Behind the scenes is a government-sanctioned ploy orchestrated by the U.S President Funny Valentine in order to use the racers to gather a set of sacred artifacts ultimately making up the 「SAINT’S CORPSE」, currently scattered across the continent. These artifacts are said to give the wielder enormous power, and in some cases, bizarre abilities. Inspired by Hirohiko’s seventh installment of the JOJO’s Bizarre Adventures franchise, delegates are thrust into the tumultuous world of 「STEEL BALL RUN」.
