Committee Description

After 10 arduous years of brutal fighting and siege, the Trojan War has concluded and the 600 men from Ithaca are finally ready to return home. However, the sea is a graveyard for men who were not ruthless enough to survive the treacherous ocean. From the embattled soldiers weary of war, to the fickle whims of the gods, prepare to embark on an Epic Odyssey of adventure and derailment. Crewmates are on the brink of starvation and exhaustion, while gods watch with their own prophecies and personal motives. The sirens are singing, the gods are meddling, keep your friends closer and your enemies closer. You all know what it takes to survive.

Quazi Jurriyat Ahmed

Hello! I'm Quazi Jurriyat Ahmed, an incoming grade 12 student at North Toronto CI & NT’s MUN President and I’ll be serving as your director for EPIC: The Musical! I’m a huge, huge fan of all things mythology and I’m still very much getting into drama & theater. Besides MUN, I’m also involved in robotics and spend my time crying over physics & chemistry. Additionally I’m quite passionate about geo-politics, so if you ever want to rant about that, feel free to seek me out. I look forward to welcoming you with open arms to the most exhilarating and EPIC committee at MarkMUN 2026.

Federico Rizo-Cubillos

Hi hi! My name is Federico and it is my absolute pleasure to be serving as a director for MarkMUN’s most Epic committee, Epic. Having started Model UN in grade 6 (holy sweat), I find myself leading North Toronto CI’s MUN club in my senior year of high school. I hope this committee really brings out the best in you delegates, and that you have as much fun singing and dancing your way through the committee as we did planning it. Outside of MUN, you can find me rambling endlessly about bicycles or the Colombian National Football team, or being very mediocre at math and physics. I have WAY TOO MANY other interests (I wonder if you can guess what inspired us to direct this committee...), so please feel free to come talk to me about anything!
